NY STATE CAPITOL

SKYLIGHTS

Albany, NY

PROJECT SCOPE

Starting in 2006, DGA collaborated with SGH, OGS and restoration architects Mesick Cohen Wilson Baker on a $46.4 M, 6-year project to restore the grandeur of the 1880s skylights at the Assembly and Senate areas of the NY State Capitol Building complex.  In addition to creating daylight- responsive lighting systems for the transillumination of the historic laylight, our scope included the lobbies, corridors, offices, Tower Hall, conference rooms, restrooms, and stairs throughout the complex.
