PROJECT SCOPE
Two stations are overlaid at the mapped center of New York City, marked by Columbus Circle above. Two very different lighting approaches were needed to honor the historic IRT station above and the newer, more industrial IND station below, and to celebrate artwork and distinctive station flourishes such as the compass rose, acknowledged via NYCT-standard lamps crafted into a custom luminaire.
