PROJECT SCOPE

In 2015, DGA began a collaboration with BWSC and ALDOT to design the lighting for the mile-long I20/I59 bridge project in Birmingham, Alabama, including highway, access ramp, bridge functional and aesthetic lighting, connected via a sophisticated wireless lighting controls system. We also performed extensive daylighting calculations to determine the potential feasibility for a future park beneath this extensive mid-city roadway.  The project is currently in construction.
